We put on habits.
Habits to clothe our bodies, habits of tradition, of power, of transgression and creativity.
Habits that change and describe in some way our inclinations, personality, and our own way of “being in the world.”
Then there are the words.
Words that “dress” ideas, fantasies, and thoughts, and give them a body. Words that recount, move, and provoke.
In “Clothes,” the body takes on words and these, written on the skin, become metaphorical habits of imagination and daily living.
